The Milton Education Village (MEV) is a planned, mixed-use neighbourhood that brings together post-secondary education, healthcare, research, and community living in a connected, walkable environment. Designed with sustainability and transit in mind, the MEV integrates state-of-the-art academic facilities, long-term care, recreation, and environmental stewardship.
Where innovation meets community
As an emerging innovation hub, the MEV connects businesses with academic institutions and a growing talent pool. Anchored by Wilfrid Laurier University and Conestoga College campuses, and set against the Niagara Escarpment, this district blends education, research, and community living.
Construction for this new village is now underway, including the creation of a brand-new long-term care facility by Schlegel Villages. Work is also taking place to advance phase one of the campus developments for Wilfrid Laurier (Laurier One Campus) and Conestoga College’s Campus, alongside a mix of residential and future commercial development blocks.
