Part 1
Innovation Factory and the Halton Small Business Centre (SBC): A full spectrum of expertise and resources
Innovation Factory
In 2024, we welcomed Innovation Factory as our Regional Innovation Centre. Early in the year, Innovation Factory and Haltech Regional Innovation Centre announced their amalgamation. Known for helping entrepreneurs and start-ups launch, build, and scale their businesses, the two organizations combined their resources to better support to the region’s innovation ecosystem.
Innovation Factory (iF) connects Milton-based companies with cutting-edge technologies, industry experts, and collaborative opportunities, positioning the Town as a hub for innovation and economic diversification.
There is no cost to become an iF client, and you’ll gain access to a wide range of resources, including funding and investment opportunities, business development tools, commercialization support, intellectual property guidance, and HR and talent acquisition assistance.
If you have or are starting a business in a sector such as advanced manufacturing, clean tech, information technology, smart transportation, life sciences, health care or social innovations, visit the iF website to learn more.
