InvestMilton and the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s Partners in Project Green are partnering to deliver this Program, which will provide opportunities for local organizations to reduce their energy bills, cut down on emissions, uncover climate resilience opportunities and boost their sustainability achievements.
Highlights
Guidance and support to access available funding opportunities, along with complimentary site walk-through assessments to identify opportunities for energy savings, GHG emissions reduction, and climate change resilience.
Participant Profile:
- Up to 5 eligible businesses located in Milton can benefit from complimentary walk-through assessments.
- Businesses that wish to participate in site assessments must have a non-residential facility in Milton, email an expression of interest and sign the program commitment letter.
The Process
Step 1
To participate, you will first need to email a basic expression of interest. Please include your full contact details, business type, and address. PPG will follow up to confirm your interest in the program and provide the commitment letter.
Step 2
A pre-assessment survey will be provided to collect preliminary information about your facility to ensure we can conduct a thorough walk-through.
Step 3
PPG will connect with you for a Planning Call to coordinate the best time to visit your facility for the walk-through.
Step 4
PPG will visit your site with a group of technical experts to help you identify opportunities to lower costs, reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, save energy, and boost resilience by implementing low-impact development (LID) features.
Step 5
After the assessment, PPG and our technical advisors will compile findings and provide participating businesses with a brief report of site-specific recommendations and available funding opportunities.
